FlatLock Jr. Sliding Jig Head
FlatLock Jr Sliding Jig Head
The FlatLock, scaled down for smaller plastics and tougher bites. You asked for it.
Best For
- Pressured fish and tough bites
- Clear to lightly stained water
- Smaller craws, flukes, worms, and stick baits
- Cold fronts and post-frontal days
- Times when the full-size FlatLock is more bait than the fish want
Why It Works
It has the same flat bottom, curved lip, and screw lock as the original FlatLock. The only change is a 3/0 hook, so smaller plastics sit right on the head and the whole presentation gets quieter. It’s still finesse, still not fragile.
Key Features
- Flat bottom: gives a smooth, gliding fall and slides across the bottom instead of digging in.
- Curved front lip: cuts down on hang-ups and comes through brush and cover clean.
- Centerpin screw lock: threads on fast and holds the bait straight, in line with the hook point.
- VMC 7218-BN 3/0 hook: black nickel and sharp, sized to fit smaller plastics without overpowering them.
How to Fish It
Rig a small craw, fluke, or finesse worm. Drag it, hop it, and let it glide on the fall. Most of the bites come when it’s sliding or sitting still.
Suggested Pairing
Clutch Craw, SureSack Junior Worm, or a 2.8" TailTeaser Swimbait.
